With a robust background encompassing engineering and business management, I stand as a committed professional equipped with a profound grasp of the energy and hydropower domain. My academic journey commenced with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering from Thapathali Campus, followed by a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Western Region Campus, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. Subsequently, I fortified my skills by earning a Master’s in Business Administration (Executive) from Kantipur Valley College, Purbanchhal University.
Throughout my career, I have assumed leadership positions within esteemed organizations, where I have been instrumental in guiding projects to fruition. Serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Syarpu Power Company Limited, a Nepal Government-owned entity, I led the development of pivotal projects such as the Syarpu Hydropower Project (3.3MW) and the Sani Bheri cascade Hydropower Project (25 MW). My responsibilities encompassed strategic planning, budgeting, construction management, contractor selection, and governmental liaison.
In addition to my CEO role, I have also served as a Board of Director for Syarpu Krishi Company Limited, a subsidiary of Syarpu Power Company Limited, contributing to strategic decision-making and ensuring the seamless implementation of construction activities. Prior to these positions, I garnered hands-on experience in various facets of hydropower, including construction, operation, micro hydro design, installation, transmission line, and substation projects, maintaining strict adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Supplementing my professional journey, I have actively pursued diverse training programs focused on construction management, quality assurance, environmental management, and energy audit.
