About Company

Syarpu Power Company Limited (SPCL), founded in 2075 B.S. with the support of the Nepal Government and local authorities of Rukum (west), is pioneering Nepal’s first local government-led power project, the Syarpu Sana Jalabidhyut Aayojana (3.3 MW). Located in Musikot Municipality and with a liaison office in Lalitpur, SPCL aims to enhance Nepal’s energy sector through hydroelectric projects in Karnali Province. Additionally, in 2077 B.S., SPCL launched the Syarpu Krishi Company Limited, venturing into the dairy industry with the goal of processing 40,000 liters of milk daily for both national and international markets.

How does hydropower work?
Hydropower harnesses the energy of flowing water to generate electricity.
